The latest development project, named "IMPULSE" will be carried out in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) in Stuttgart. Within the IMPULSE project, a novel series of compact gears will be developed. The drives production will be supported by a new and innovative production process, which is based on attributes.

Current a new research application was developed for our product group of gears.
Under the project name „IMPULS" and in cooperation with the Fraunhofer Institute for Manufacturing Engineering and Automation (IPA) a new and compact gear will be developed. Keep your fingers crossed that we also receive a positive feedback to this latest application.

In 2009 we offered two one-day workshops on the subject safety engineering in cooperation with our sales partner Hans Jungblut.

After a successful start in May in Cologne the second appointment has taken place on the 18th November in Stuttgart. On the bases of numerous practice examples the optimal application of the safety gears and overspeed governor was presented. A special highlight of the event were a braking test at the own test facility for safety gears of SLC. The participants of the events praised the practical relevance of the shown examples of their daily work as well as the exchange of information with the technicians of SLC and Jungblut.

We would like to thank all participants for their interest and contributions.

Because of the extremely positive resonance four further Workshops are planned in 2010.
